Arinwa

The 6th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Inter-Agency Network on Asset Recovery for West Africa (ARINWA) was held on 27-28 November 2019 at Bravia Hotel in Ouagadougou, Burkina-Faso.

The meeting was organised by ARINWA in partnership with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and the Government of Burkina-Faso. It was attended by the 16 member states as well as representatives of the Intergovernmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA) and GIZ.

The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr Théophile SAWADOGO, Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice, representing the Minister.

The workshop focused mainly on the review and adoption of the 2019 activity report, the presentation of the ARINWA website and the review of the draft strategic action plan 2020-2024.
